Encourage Motivate Inspire Speaker Series and Roundtable

Our monthly Encourage Motivate Inspire Speaker Series and Roundtable brings community leaders to campus to share their college, career, and personal journeys with our mentees. Through the representation and shared experiences of our community speakers, we strive to Encourage, Motivate, and Inspire our mentees to see what is achievable.

Annual Retreat

Our annual ReTREAT provides an opportunity to engage mentees and mentors and sets the tone for the upcoming year.

Cultural Connections

Las Comadres looks to celebrate Houston's diversity by providing mentees a way to honor Latino heritage through various cultural outings. The opportunity to connect with cultural experiences in our community have opened up conversations and experiences that are helping our mentees grow and connect with Latino cultural heritage. In the past, mentees have participated in programming across the city including Houston's Fiestas Patrias Parade and Houston Symphony's Selena Tribute performance.
