Summer Workshop on Applying to Graduate School (SWAGS)

SWAGS is a FREE program that aims to help UH students get admitted to the graduate programs of their choice. Designed for rising seniors who will be applying to high-quality Master's and Doctoral programs within the calendar year, SWAGS helps demystify and the application process. Successful participants may be eligible to apply for a scholarship to help with GRE and application costs. For details, contact Professor Elizabeth Simas ( in the UH Political Science Department.

Note: Interested freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are still encouraged to contact Professor Simas as early as possible so that she can begin the advising process. Please see this flyer for more details.
