Biographical Summary

Tyson Chatagnier joined the faculty in 2016 as Assistant Professor of Political Science. Previously, he worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Vanderbilt University, and as a Researcher at the Bruno Kessler Foundation in Trento, Italy. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Rochester in 2013. His research interests include the relationship between economics and international conflict, civil-military relations, and the micro-level components of militarized conflict and military effectiveness.
