Impact of Food Insecurity on Parent Veterans and their Children

Veterans returning home after serving in the military can face many challenges readjusting to civilian life — from finding work to finding enough food to feed their families. Nearly one in four veterans is food insecure. In an effort to develop interventions to help these families thrive, the University of Houston has launched a new study to identify veterans’ barriers to food. Read more

History in the Making: 8 of the 11 UH Fulbright Scholarships Awarded to CLASS

On April 30, the University of Houston Honors College reported that the Office of Undergraduate Research celebrated another record-breaking year in 2018-19, with 11 outstanding UH students receiving Fulbright awards for research and teaching.
