CLASS congratulates our award winning staff members

Honorees recognized and celebrated at Staff Awards Day luncheon on June 7

The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences congratulates our outstanding staff members honored in 2012 with Staff Excellence Awards.

Staff Excellence Awards recognize meritorious service, dedication and contribution to the university beyond the requirements or expectations of the job. Characteristics of a staff member’s performance that are considered criteria for this award are:

Superior job performance and a high degree of proficiency in areas of responsibility, as well as outstanding personal traits such as dedication, loyalty, reliability, courtesy and initiative
Continuous demonstration of service concepts necessary to support the department and university
Initiative in making improvements in work methods, standards or operations or in the developing new programs, services or cost savings that enhance or support the department and university
The ability to work cooperatively as a member of the work team

Each award honoree was recognized at the Staff Awards Day ceremony and luncheon on June 7, 2012. They each received a certificate and $1,000 cash prize.
