Certificates
At the graduation ceremony, the Language and Culture Center (LCC) awards two types of certificates to students: the Certificate of Successful Completion and the Certificate of Graduation.
I am a Level 1 through 5 student. What are the requirements to receive a Certificate of Successful Completion?
- A passing grade in all skills
- A Certificate of Successful completion is not awarded if a student earns an F in any skill in the second half of the term.
- The required proficiency score for promotion
- Sufficient attendance in all classes
- Fewer than 40 hours of absence for Fall, Spring, and Summer students
- Fewer than 20 hours of absence for Summer II students
- Completion of all end-of-term assessments
- MTELP
- Writing Sample
- Final Classroom Tests
- Full payment of all tuition and fees
I am a Level 6 student. What are the requirements to receive a Certificate of Graduation?
- A passing grade in all skills
- Level 6 students are not eligible to graduate with an F in any skill in the second half of the term.
- The required proficiency score for graduation
- Sufficient attendance in all classes
- Fewer than 40 hours of absence for Fall, Spring, and Summer students
- Fewer than 20 hours of absence for Summer II students
- Completion of the research paper
- Completion of all end-of-term assessments

- Writing Sample
- Final Classroom Tests
- Full payment of all tuition and fees
