What is a CougarNet account?
With a CougarNet account, you may access online services provided by the University of Houston at AccessUH including:
- myUH Self Service: update your contact information, and pay tuition and fees
- myParking Account: purchase a parking permit
- myHousing: apply for on-campus housing
- Cougar Card: purchase a meal plan and add cash to your Cougar Card
How do I get my CougarNet username and password?
Once you have registered for the Language and Culture Center (LCC), you will receive two emails: one containing your CougarNet username and the other including a password. Change your password at AccessUH.
I can't find the emails containing my CougarNet username and password? What should I do?
Visit AccessUH, click "Don't know your CougarNet ID?" and follow instructions to get your CougarNet username. Once you get the username, visit AccessUH and click "Change/Reset your CougarNet Password" to get a password.
I tried to get my username or password at AccessUH. It doesn't work. What should I do?
Contact University Information Technology (UIT) Support Center:
- call or text (713) 743-1411, Sunday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
- chat with a support representative, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
If the UIT representative isn't able to help you get your username, please contact the LCC at LCC@uh.edu. In the email, please include your full name and myUH ID.
How do I change or reset my password?
Visit AccessUH and click "Change/Reset your CougarNet Password."
Does my password expire?
Yes. CougarNet passwords expire after 180 days.
