Am I required to buy textbooks?

Yes. You are required to buy textbooks and any online components for the level in which you are placed. If you do not bring your books or homework to class, you may be asked to leave the class and you will be marked absent.

Your teachers might take you to the University of Houston bookstore to buy your books. They have chosen the best and most current textbooks for your level.  

When should I buy textbooks?

You must have your books and any online components by the first Monday of Week 2.

What should I do if I want to return my books?

• Keep your receipt when you buy books. You must have a receipt to return your books.
• Do not write in the books until you know you will keep them. You might not get a full refund if you have used them.
