Natnael Sinshaw

Research Assistant

Mr. Sinshaw is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Houston and a researcher at the Computational Biomedicine Lab (CBL). He earned a B.Sc. and a fully funded M.Sc. in Software Engineering from Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, Ethiopia, where he later served as a professor and researcher. He received the Young Talents from Africa Prize under the Eni Award in Italy, which included a fully funded doctoral scholarship that he did not pursue. He also secured and served as principal investigator for a grant focused on the representation of low resource languages in the global AI ecosystem. His research interests include responsible AI, machine learning, computer vision, and data science.
