Marcus Sammer works on the full lifecycle of academic research projects at the CBL, from writing grant proposals to coding applications and writing research papers . Academic software inspires him because he can see new concepts taken to reality within a few months. Outside of the office, Marcus enjoys traveling with his family, cooking, and listening to political and legal podcasts. He is thrilled to be around to participate in the AI revolution that he dreamed of, but never thought would be a reality during his lifetime. He received a BS in mathematics from Southern Adventist University and a PhD in mathematics from Georgia Tech.
