Have a plan in case an emergency strikes

September was National Preparedness Month, and the University of Houston's Office of Emergency Management shared preparedness tips for the UH community each week during the month.

Part 1 in the four-part series discussed making an emergency plan so you will know what to do if disaster strikes. The devastation of Hurricane Harvey shows the importance of having an emergency plan. The Office of Emergency Management will provide the resources needed to help build one today for your building, department or family.
