Homework Summary

The following is to assist you in knowing what to do for your homework assignments and what form to use.

  1. All problems are from your text, Mathematics for Management and Finance by Shao and Shao.
  2. All solutions should be sent in one Excel file. I only check one file. It is not necessary to zip the file.
  3. Do not put solutions in the body of the e-mail. They should all be in the attachment.
  4. The posted solutions provide a good guide for formatting your problems. Important - Show work.
  5. Name your file in accordance with the following policy. If it is not named properly, I will send it back to you to be renamed and this process may result in a late submission.

It is IMPORTANT to use the naming convention for this course to ensure you get credit for the assignment. I have two on-line classes and many assignments are being submitted.

The convention is:
LASTNAME3365H#

Example: Ms. Smiths file for homework 1 would be:
Smith 3365 H1

6.    The subject of the e-mail should be the same as the file name:    Smith 3365 H1
If it is not named properly, I will send it back to you to be renamed and this process may result in a late submission.
7.   Submit as a single attachment to: cgoodson@uh.edu

Remember- if you think you have found a mistake in the posted info or the text, let me know. If you're the first and it's validated, you get extra homework points.
