Eldridge Named Principal Project Manager of Inspections and Project Controls

Emily Eldridge

Emily Eldridge has been named principal project manager of inspections and project controls for the University of Houston.

Since starting in Facilities Planning and Construction as a senior project manager in 2011, she has completed the Science and Research 1 Life Safety Renovations and Health and Biomed One projects. She has a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering technology with a minor in architectural engineering technology from the University of Southern Mississippi and has 13 years of project management experience on projects ranging from $15 million to $222 million.

In her new role as principal project manager, she will lead a team of facilities project inspectors in an effort to continue improving overall quality control on capital projects throughout the University of Houston system. Her team is responsible for project inspections as well as assuring overall project conformance to contract documents, UH design guidelines and the UH master specifications. She will also be working to strengthen the consistency of FP&C project delivery and project controls.
