Student Service Organizations Abroad

Student Service Organizations Abroad

There are several student organizations that offer experiences abroad in a variety of geographical locations with diverse goals and values.

Student Organization Abroad Programs, per the Dean of Students Office are not “sponsored or sanctioned” by the University unless the program is formally co-sponsored with an administrative or academic unit of the University. Receiving IEFS funding does not make this program co-sponsored by Learning Abroad or University of Houston.

All student service organizations must submit the Student Service Learning Program Registration before any members can receive IEFS funding. Organizations can access the registration form here. The deadline for submission is Monday, January 8, 2018.

If you have questions or are interested in joining an organization and attending one of their programs, please contact the organization directly.

Studens attending a Service Learning program abroad must register with Learning Abroad, per the registration process (please review Student Service Learning Organizations for required documents).
