Doctor of Philosophy in School Psychology
The School Psychology doctoral program is committed to developing school psychologists who excel in the areas of applied research as well as ecologically and developmentally sensitive evidence-based practice. Our program’s goal is to develop professional psychologists who are competent to engage in applied research and ecologically sensitive evidence-based practice.

The University of Houston School Psychology doctoral program trains psychologists in research using a mentorship model, where students receive expert training in research under the supervision of one of more members of the faculty. The School Psychology program is now accepting applications for the Fall 2018 semester until December 1, 2017.
