Adaptive Athletics

Wheelchair Rugby Camp - June 13-16, 2013 at UH
HHP and
its Adaptive Athletics student organization will host a wheelchair rugby
camp for participants 14-25 years old on June 13–16, 2013. This camp
will be the only one of its kind in the nation, and athletes of all
levels are welcome.
The 5 day camp will be conducted at the UH Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. Anyone with a disability in three or more limbs is eligible
to participate. If you are in need of a rugby chair, Adaptive Athletics will do
their best to make accommodations.

Deadline to register: May 13th, 2013 - $150 per athlete

Sponsorship Information:
Your sponsorship will help implement an adaptive athletics program on the campus while giving students with disabilities a chance to experience the whole college life by allowing them to competitively participate in sports like wheelchair rugby.
This event also provides sponsors
an ideal opportunity to enhance relationships with UH and the community.

Our mission is to implement a wheelchair rugby camp in order to foster the development of an athletics program at the University of Houston for students with disabilities. The Wheelchair Rugby Camp is a 509 (a)(1)
