Nutrition (M.S.)
A Master of Science in Nutrition provides a comprehensive course of study to prepare advanced practitioners in clinical nutrition care of the patient and clinical management. The non-thesis degree option enables students to learn from faculty experts on evidence-based medical nutrition therapies, advanced physical assessment skills, development and evaluation of educational programs, and effective management skills for the clinical leader.
This program is designed to meet the needs of currently enrolled dietetic interns desiring a graduate degree, students accepted into a dietetic internship desiring a graduate degree, or credentialed Registered Dietitians who have completed their supervised practice experience after 2008.
Graduates of the program will be prepared to work in advanced clinical settings as a practitioner, clinical management leader or other nutrition related positions.
