From the impact of young Latino voters to issues of gender, right wing populism and potential changes in the makeup of Congress, the University of Houston has experts available through election night and post-election who can comment on a range of topics related to the 2016 elections.

The UH Department of Political Science and the UH political science honor society will host an election night viewing party, 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Tuesday in the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Pavilion, inside the M.D. Anderson Library. Political scientist Elizabeth Simas will be there and available to talk about electoral behavior, voting trends, gender in politics and other topics; the event also will include a live newscast produced by students from the Valenti School of Communication.

For assistance in reaching our experts or attending the Election Night viewing party, please contact UH Media Relations.
