Microsoft Teams

Sign-in to Microsoft Teams (desktop version)

 

Sign-in Address
Your Microsoft Teams sign-in address is always CougarNetID@cougarnet.uh.edu.  

 
Microsoft Teams Sign in Address
 
To open Microsoft Teams:
  1. Locate the Start menu option.
  2. Type Microsoft Teams in the search bar.
  3. Select Microsoft Teams. 

Sign-in using CougarNet credentials 

  1. In the Sign-in Address field, enter CougarnetID@cougarnet.uh.edu.
  2. Click Next.
  3. In the Password field, enter your CougarNet password.
  4. Click Sign in.

Note: Your CougarNet username and password will be automatically saved after the first successful login.

Microsoft Teams for Mac

To Sign-in to MS Teams: 

  1. Click the Finder icon in your dock.
  2. Select the Applications category on the sidebar.
  3. Search for Microsoft Teams and double click to open.
  4. Click Get Started.
  5. Type in your CougarNet username (Example: CougarnetID@cougarnet.uh.edu).
  6. Click Next.
  7. Type in your CougarNet password.
  8. Click Sign in.

Sign-in to Microsoft Teams (web version)

  1. Go here: Login.microsoft.com
  2. In the Sign-in Address field, enter CougarNetID@cougarnet.uh.edu.
  3. Click Next.
  4. In the Password field, enter your CougarNet password.
  5. Click Sign in.
  6. Select from the following: Send Me a Push, Call Me, or Enter a Passcode.

Note: DUO Authentication is required when using the web version of MS Teams. If “Remember Me” is selected when initially authenticating via Two-Factor Authentication, you won’t need to re-authenticate with Two-Factor Authentication again for 30 days.
