Biography
Dr. Paola Arboleda-Ríos is the Graduate Director for CLASS’ Hispanic Studies department. Her research interests include literary translation, women’s literature and cinema in Latin America as well as feminist, gender and queer theories. She completed her Ph.D. in Spanish and Portuguese Studies at the University of Florida where she concentrated on Latin American literature, specifically, she found and studied the very few autobiographies that exist of LGTB people in the region.
