About the Office of Educational Technology
The Office of Educational Technology partners with faculty and academic departments
to design, support, and enhance effective teaching and learning across all modalities.
We focus on practical, hands-on assistance that improves course design, student engagement,
and instructional impact. We support Canvas LMS course design and integration, along
with engagement tools such as Padlet, Nearpod, and Edpuzzle. We also guide the thoughtful
use of AI tools including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and Google Gemini to enhance
instruction, streamline course development, and support student learning.
In addition, we assist with testing support and setup through CASA and DART, helping
ensure smooth, accessible, and well-coordinated assessment experiences for students
and faculty.
