Houston Scholars Proposal Development & Assessment
Houston Scholars:
As a member of Houston Scholars, each year you are encouraged to develop a proposal related to your future professional and career goals. Your proposal topic may be to conduct research, undertake a service project or internship, attend or present at a professional conference, or study/research abroad. Students will defend their proposals, and competitive proposals may receive funding. Senior students are not eligible to compete for Houston Scholars funding.

The deadline to submit a proposal for Summer 2023 is March 17, 2023.
If your proposal is approved for funding, then you must complete the following pre- and post-project assessments. Remember to work with your Houston Scholars faculty mentor to complete the assessment essays.
