An Informal Conversation with Jody Williams 

On Wednesday, Nov. 20, Nobel Prize winner and UH Professor Jody Williams will speak about her successful grassroots efforts.

Per her suggestion, most of the session will be devoted to a Q&A session during which students can pose questions about advocacy, activism, and how they, as individuals, can make a difference. She notes, "I happen to believe not just in human rights but in human responsibility. I believe that I have a responsibility to make this world a better place, and I believe anybody can do it."
