Alex Landon is a professor of practice at the Cullen College of Engineering and the director of the UH Grand Challenge Scholars Program. She teaches first-year honors engineering courses. Her classes emphasize applied problem-solving to challenges that matter in students’ lives and communities.
Prior to joining UH, Landon was a senior leader at an education technology startup in Boston. She also has industry experience in management consulting and renewable energy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
