Welcome to Air Force ROTC Detachment 003

Since its inception at the University of Houston in 2003, Air Force ROTC Detachment 003 has commissioned over 70 Second Lieutenants into the United States Air Force from 15 colleges and universities in the greater Houston area. Our mission is to mold cadets into future leaders, encapsulating the virtues of utmost integrity and selflessness for our nation’s Air and Space Force. We foster an atmosphere in which excellence in all endeavors academics, fitness and leadership is not merely an option, but a necessity. We are one of the most diverse and fastest growing AFROTC detachments in the nation, owing to our legacy built upon the Air Force core values of “Integrity, Service Before Self, and Excellence In All We Do.” The offices for AFROTC Detachment 003 are located on campus at the University of Houston in the Susanna Garrison Gymnasium.
