In the wake of the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal, University of Houston students are contributing their energies to collecting donations for relief efforts.

UH’s Nepalese Student Association will be at different campus sites collecting funds. On April 27, students will be accepting donations at the Student Center Satellite from 2 to 3 p.m. After 3 p.m., they will relocate to the Student Center South. On the morning of April 29, donations will be accepted in the outdoor breezeway of Philip G. Hoffman Hall. Funds also can be contributed online.

According to Keshab Dahal, president of UH’s Nepalese Student Association, funds will be forwarded to the Red Cross and the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund.

To bolster its fund-raising efforts, the University’s Nepalese Student Association is partnering with the Nepalese Association of Houston.
