A Masterclass with Brett Cullen: Acting for Camera

Brett Cullen, veteran film and television actor and alumnus of UH, talks with students of Moores Opera Center who have participated in virtual operas about acting for camera. As the opera industry adapts to new forms of media, singer-actors need the added skill set of acting for film. Cullen, known for roles on TV series such as The Blacklist and True Detectives and on the silver screen in the Oscar-nominated film Joker, will share his experience in acting for camera and how it differs from stage acting and coach the students on their recent performances for camera.
