This student-created performance is the culmination creative site explorations by the advanced dance composition class in the University of Houston Dance Program taught by Professor Karen Stokes. Site explorations this semester included Allen’s Landing, the Cistern at Buffalo Bayou, Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, the Houston Ship Channel via Sam Houston Boat Tour and Brazos Bend State Park. Hermann Park reflecting pond location was selected by students for a final project performance.
Dance Composition 3 is a new course in the curriculum for our B.F.A. in dance degree, which launched in fall 2018.
