Guest Workshop: Steve Treseler, improvisation

Steve Treseler is an award-winning Seattle-based saxophonist, composer, and teaching artist who performs and leads improvisation workshops throughout North America and Europe. Hailed by Earshot Jazz as a “firebrand of the tenor saxophone,” DownBeat describes his music as “beautifully crafted ensemble pieces…whether free, through-composed, or somewhere in between.”
Treseler holds a master’s degree in jazz studies and improvised music from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in jazz performance from New England Conservatory.
Steve is a Conn Selmer performing artist.
