Immerse yourself in the artistry of Moores School of Music’s Percussion Ensemble.

With a triumphant record as a three-time winner of the Percussive Arts Society Percussion Ensemble Competition, this ensemble stands as a testament to its excellence.

It has pioneered the creation of over twelve original compositions for an expansive percussion ensemble, all of which it has had the privilege to debut. The ensemble’s accomplishments also include the release of three widely acclaimed commercial albums.

Founded in the autumn of 1997, this ensemble’s inception was motivated by a dual ethos: an unwavering commitment to fostering effective pedagogy and dedication to the realm of artistic expression. Within the pedagogical context, the Percussion Ensemble assumes an indispensable role in our comprehensive percussion training program, providing a multi-dimensional facet to our educational approach.
