Organ Program Fall 2020 Virtual Recruiting Event

Saturday, November 14, 2020

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join organ faculty member Daryl Robinson, current students, and alumni to learn more about the UH organ program and the amazing opportunities available to organists in the city of Houston! This virtual event, hosted on Zoom, will give you a chance to tour our facilities, chat with current and recent students, and hear performances by members of the UH organ studio. To take part in this exciting and informational event, please register for free here.

The Moores School of Music organ program is designed to prepare students to be adaptable and successful as both solo and collaborative musicians. Intentionally a small and selective program, we’re able to offer nearly unlimited access to an eclectic collection of organs both on- and off-campus, weekly lessons that go well beyond the traditional hour-long format of most schools, and abundant performance opportunities. Students living on campus have access 24/7 to pipe organs built by Beckerath, Pasi, Wahl, and Reuter; and off-campus we offer daily access to major installations by Aeolian-Skinner, Fritts, Nichols & Simpson, and Pasi.
