All-State Strings Festival: Virtual Etudes Workshop

This event is for all Texas High School string players who are auditioning for the 2021 Texas All-State Orchestra. They will participate in an online master class with students from across the state. There will be two virtual workshops available: An Etudes Workshop taking place on Sunday, September 20th from 12pm-3pm and an Excerpts Workshop taking place on Sunday, September 27th from 3pm-6pm.
During these workshops, high school string students will learn performance, preparatory, and audition strategies for the music involved in the Texas All-State Orchestra Audition. They will get close-up instruction with world-class faculty members at the University of Houston Moores School of Music.
