Wyatt, retired professor, Prairie View A&M University, and personal friend of the composer. Moderated by Moores Professor of Musicology, Howard Pollack.
6:30 – 7:15 p.m. • MSM 108 Settling the Score: “The Fate of Black Classical Music,” with Joseph Horowitz, guest musicologist and author of Dvorak’s Prophecy: And the Vexed Fate of Black Classical Music (2021).
