To collaborate with the University of Houston and gain access to UH systems, guests must complete an Electronic Person of Interest (ePOI) form. This process enables guests to securely access essential systems such as Canvas, traditional file shares, and gain a CougarNet account as well as access to Microsoft 365.

Where can I find the ePOI form to access UH resources?
Answer:
The form can be found on the ePerson of Interest Process page, then scroll to the bottom and click on the ePerson of Interest Application Form link.
Who do I send the ePOI form to?
Answer:
The sponsor needs to return this form to his/her Department Business Office for processing.
How long does it take for an ePOI to be approved?
Answer:
The ePOI form can take up to 2 to 3 days to get approved. If you have not received anything after 3 days, contact your sponsor or the department business office that you are being sponsored by.
What is the expiration date for using UH resources?
Answer:
