Residential move-in was a success at the University of Houston once again this fall, with volunteers having to overcome a major obstacle – the weather.
Several hundred Cougar Mover volunteers created a wonderful move-in experience that helped students arrive and get settled into their new "home away from home" here on campus. Non-stop rain, thunder and lightning, however, made it quite the adventure to get nearly 6,000 residents moved into the seven on-campus residential facilities.
When all was said and done, move-in went off without any major problems.
