Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top will be performing at the University of Houston as part of his tour in support of his debut solo album, the Afro-Cuban-influenced "Perfectamundo."

The concert is set for Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. in Cullen Performance Hall. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online at www.entertainhouston.com or www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 or at the Entertain Houston Ticket Office at TDECU Stadium. Prices are $65 and $25, not including taxes and fees.

The concept for “Perfectamundo,” which was produced by Gibbons and Joe Hardy and recorded in Houston, Los Angeles, Austin and Pontevedra, Spain, originated in Gibbons’ Houston studio, when he explored the potential for a Latin-flavored album with his Argentine-born, Puerto Rico-raised friend and musical collaborator Martine “G.G.” GuiGui.
