The deadline is fast approaching for University of Houston students to apply for meal plan and textbook scholarships.
The Meal Plan Scholarship, which is offered by UH Dining Services, provides recipients a meal plan for the fall 2016 and spring 2017 semesters. The Barnes and Noble Textbook Scholarship awards $400 for the fall semester and $400 for the spring semester to use for purchasing textbooks at the UH Bookstore. It is renewable for up to two years.
The deadline to apply for both scholarships is Sunday, Feb. 14. Eligibility requirements for both of them can be found online. For instructions on how to apply, click here.
This past year, 11 students were awarded the textbook scholarship and 10 received the meal plan scholarship.
“We encourage all eligible students to apply for these scholarships, which once again are graciously being offered by our wonderful partners in Barnes and Noble and UH Dining,” said Deborah Davis, director of Auxiliary Services.
