University of Houston Dining Services offers a collection of residential and commuter meal plans with discounted Cougar Cash opportunities for the spring semester.
Residents
Residential meal plans are customized for students who live in residential halls or around campus and offer a variety of options to fit every schedule. Residents can choose from larger money-saving meal plans like the Shasta Pass Unlimited, which includes an unlimited number of meals and $100 in Cougar Cash, or the Sasha Swipe 15 plan. This plan delivers 15 meals per week and $250 in Cougar Cash so a student can dine for as little as $6.55 per meal.
Juniors and seniors can take part in the 1600 Cougar Cash plan that features $1,600 in Cougar Cash and can be used at 29 on-campus dining locations. They also will receive a 10 percent discount when purchasing a meal with Cougar Cash in the dining halls.
Commuters
Commuter meal plans are crafted to fit every class schedule and appetite during a busy semester. Commuters can choose from a variety of block and Cougar Cash plans that offer convenient on-campus dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A block plan, like the Block 80, features a set number of meal swipes to use in the dining halls and includes Cougar Cash. Cougar Cash can be redeemed at the dining halls, food courts, food trucks and convenience stores.
Cougar Cash Discounts
Customers will receive a discounted Cougar Cash rate when purchasing their meal plan. For example, a customer will receive $100 in Cougar Cash with the Shasta Pass Unlimited. This meal plan offers a 15 percent Cougar Cash discount. The discount is applied at the time of payment and customers can view their Cougar Cash balance through AccessUH.
Faculty/Staff
Faculty and staff discounted meal plans feature three meals that participants can select to dine in the residential dining halls. Faculty and staff can choose from five, 10 or 15 meals per month and can add Cougar Cash to their plan. Visit the Cougar Card office in Suite 151 of the Welcome Center Parking Garage to sign up for a payroll deductible meal plan today.
