Faculty and staff got the opportunity to learn more about the different services and programs offered through Auxiliary Services during the first-ever Auxiliary Services Fair.
The two-hour event took place Aug. 14 in the M.D. Anderson Library’s Rockwell Pavilion. Among those that had booths were the University Copy Center, Parking and Transportation Services, Barnes & Noble @ University of Houston, Dining Services, the Office of Sustainability, the Cougar Card office, and Printing and Postal Services. The UH Department of Public Safety and Facilities Management were also represented.
Representatives from each department answered questions and provided information about their specific service offerings. Light refreshments were provided and those who attended had the chance to win door prizes.
Attendees also had a chance to learn more about the new building access project that will require members of the UH community to swipe their Cougar Cards to enter buildings after hours.
