University of Houston Molecular Medicine & Experimental Therapeutics: Craft Subgroup

::Student Research

Students that come to our lab have the opportunity to make significant contributions to published research. Being published during your undergraduate or summer visiting time in the lab can greatly enhance a students future Medical or Graduate Studies application.
Research is enhanced by the teamwork as members across many UH labs can work side by side with advanced instrumentation and facilities. This collaborative environment can even extend across campuses, as I have hosted summer visiting graduate students from University of Central Florida and other colleges. The combination of students own academic excellence and their mentored research has empowered them for successful applications to national fellowships such as the Goldwater Scholar, or the Governors Research Day in Austin.
Students that come to complete research in the lab are encouraged to present their results during group meetings and then at local and national conferences.
