We invite you to explore the site to learn more about the upcoming conference and
our mission to engage and support current and future faculty preceptors. 

Overview

This conference is designed to support clinical educators in enhancing their teaching and mentorship of medical learners. Throughout the day, participants will engage in focused sessions and collaborative discussions, exploring effective strategies for learner engagement, feedback, and assessment in clinical settings. The schedule also provides dedicated time to connect with peers, exchange insights, and strengthen educational practices in support of high-quality medical training.

  • Describe how workplace-based assessments contribute to learner evaluation, milestone development, and competency-based medical education.
  • Demonstrate effective approaches for teaching and supervising learners within clinical environments.
  • Identify best practices for completing learner assessments and writing objective letters of recommendation for medical students and residents.
  • Recognize institutional policies, reporting processes, and educator responsibilities related to learner mistreatment and professional learning environments.
