The UH Health Family Care Center is located in the Health 2 Building at Entrance 2 (behind the Health 1 Building and the University Eye Institute).

Parking

Parking is available and free for patients who have an appointment at the UH Health Family Care Center.

Entering from Martin Luther King Boulevard: Continue to the end of the parking lot and turn right. The Health 2 Building entrance will be facing toward Wheeler Street.

Entering from Wheeler Street: The Health 2 Building entrance will be on your left.

You may only park in Health 1 & 2 Patient Parking Lot (2A) during the time of your appointment. Parking spaces may be limited and are subject to the University of Houston On-Campus Parking Rules and Regulations.

Traffic Advisory - Spur 5

Texas Department of Transportation has notified us that Spur 5 will be under construction starting May 22. The construction project will last for a minimum of 120 days and is expected to impact traffic patterns around the UH Health Family Care Center. Please adjust your route planning and travel times accordingly. The following illustration shows the affected roadways.

Building Directions

Health 1 Building Entrance: (located off of Martin Luther King Blvd.)

Enter through the Health 1 Building Patient Entrance, go past the Health 1 Building main entrance stairs/elevator and proceed to the Health 1/Health 2 main hallway connector.
Follow the directional signs into the hallway leading to the Health 2 building.
Continue down the hallway and we are located at the end of the Hallway to your right.

Health 2 Building Entrance: (located off of Wheeler Street)

Enter through the Health 2 Building and you will find us left of the stairs on the first floor.

Free Parking Information

UH Health Family Care Center provides free parking to its patients.

Validation: Please present your parking ticket at the Family Care Center front desk when checking-in for your appoitment to get it validated.

IMPORTANT: The Family Care Center cannot issue validations for patients who park at metered spaces, a garage, and other parking lots or have lost their parking tickets.
