The Richard Gelwick Endowed Lecture Series was created to honor the memory of Dr. Richard Gelwick who dedicated his life to understanding how we could hold together faith and reason, religion and science, to translate love into justice in public life. The annual Gelwick lecture or debate brings to campus nationally-prominent speakers to discuss the importance and meaning of ethics in society.
