Upgrade Windows XP for Students
Upgrade Windows XP to Windows 7 or Windows 8.1
- Determine the version of Windows that the computer can use by running these assistants.
- Aquire a copy of the software from Cougar Byte
- Depending on what version of Windows you want to install follow the link below but
keep this page handy for licensing and additional support provided by UH.
- Windows 7 Install In “Step 3: Installing Windows 7” you will need to choose "Upgrade"
- Windows 8.1 Install In “Step 4: Installing Windows 8.1” you will need to choose "Upgrade"
