Dr. Norma Ngo

Dr. Norma Ngo, Director of Counseling and Psychological Services has been named the 2017 President-Elect for the Texas University and College Counseling Directors Association (TUCCDA). As President-Elect, Dr. Ngo will be responsible for assisting the TUCCDA President with challenges that arise throughout the year and will plan the annual TUCCDA conference.

“It is an honor to be the President-elect of the Texas University and College Counseling Directors Association (TUCCDA), an organization dedicated to assisting university and college students with their diverse mental health concerns. The issues students are presenting with appear to be more complex with each passing year. As mental health professionals and administrators, TUCCDA is tireless in working to maximize often limited resources on behalf of students to help them persevere and become successful contributing members of society.

Dr. Ngo has been involved with TUCCDA for seven years and looks forward to her term as President-Elect beginning April 2017.

About TUCCDA
Membership in TUCCDA is by institution and is available to all four-year, senior level, and graduate colleges and universities. Directors from all of the larger universities, as well as many from the moderate to smaller colleges and universities in the state are involved in TUCCDA and are usually very active in the organization.
