Checking Account
- You may put money in a checking account and use it to pay for rent, food, and other daily expenses. Usually, there are no withdrawal limits.
- Monthly maintenance fee may apply. Ask the bank how to avoid this fee.
- Out-of-network fee, overdraft fee, and foreign transaction fee may apply.
Savings Account
- Savings account typically have higher interest rates than checking accounts.
- You may make transfers and some withdrawals only six times a month. Savings withdrawal limit fee will apply.
- Monthly maintenance fee may apply. Ask the bank how to avoid this fee.
