Enhance your advising skills in this session of the GUIDES professional development series focused on active listening. Participants will learn techniques to listen more effectively, understand both verbal and non-verbal cues, and respond thoughtfully to students’ concerns. Through interactive exercises, attendees will practice active listening skills that foster trust, improve communication, and lead to more meaningful and productive advising sessions.
