Geriatric Medication Safety Symposium

Supported by a five-year grant from the National Institute on Aging, the Geriatric Medication Safety Symposium is a collaboration of UHCOP and the McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston that focuses on such areas as medication safety in long-term care, off-label drug use during the pandemic, drug burden/safer opioid use, adverse drug events/significant drug interactions, and drug safety during transitions of care.
