Houston, Feb. 7, 2018 - Free snacks and a drawing for a Boost gift card will highlight the grand opening celebration for the new 24-hour campus convenience store at the University of Houston Law Center. Students, faculty and staff are invited to check out everything the Market at Law Center has to offer during the grand opening event, which will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22. The store is located on the ground floor adjacent to the student lounge area in the space that previously housed a Subway restaurant. It first opened its doors for business in early December. The store operates with a self-checkout kiosk, allowing it to remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Customers scan the items they want to purchase at the kiosk, then pay using cash or credit. UH Dining representatives will be on hand at the grand opening to answer questions.
