UH Dietitian to be Featured at Coogs Go Healthy

Houston, March 16, 2017 — Danielle McFeron, University of Houston Dining Services' registered dietitian, will partner with the Student Nutrition Association for the third annual Coogs Go Healthy.

The event is held to educate the UH community about general health and wellness. It will take place Thursday, March 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Student Center Plaza.

McFeron and the Student Nutrition Association will engage in discussions on sugar consumption, trying new vegetables and pesto sauces, along with nutritional trivia and gardening tips. Guests are invited to sample healthy foods and learn how to make chicken lettuce wraps.

"The Student Nutrition Association has been so awesome," said McFeron. "This will be such a fun educational program, and their team has been a huge contribution to that."
